With Carol’s passion for her profession and her clients' satisfaction coupled with her entrepreneurial successes and involvement in community cultural and educational organizations, she offers you the necessary experience, expertise and judgment to assist you in any of your real estate needs.
Carol graduated from UC Berkeley with a BS in Psychology and worked as a probation officer and social worker until she began her real estate career in 1977 at Mason McDuffie. In 1980, she co-founded Northbrae Properties, one of the most successful boutique agencies in Berkeley; in 1985 she cofounded Ocean View Travel. Carol was Northbrae's broker of record and leading producer until 1991 when, as a result of her husband's transfer, she moved to Connecticut and sold her interest in both businesses.
While in Connecticut she served as executive director of the Stamford City Ballet and founded Nature's Bubbles, a children's bath products company. In 1997, she sold Nature’s Bubbles as she and her husband returned to Berkeley where she affiliated with Templeton Co.
Carol took a break in 2000 to focus on building a small private winery and second home in the Applegate Valley of Southern Oregon. She has served on the Board of the Aurora Theater for the last six years and formerly worked as a volunteer at the de Young Museum, San Francisco Botanical Gardens and Cal Performances.
As her Oregon project has now wound down, she has returned to the career that has always given her great joy. Carol chose Pacific Union as the perfect fit for her because of her high regard for the ethics and professionalism of their agents and management.
Carol looks forward to continuing to serve her friends and associates in the Bay Area in their real estate adventures.
